I AM STRONG ISLAND CONCERT SERIES

 

 

The I AM STRONG ISLAND CONCERT SERIES kicked off this Labor day at PASSIONS  LOUNGE in Freeport, Long Island. Hosted by DC of Central Station, the event featured ENJ, LADY LAWLESS, AND DBL. Primetime DJ Mello did his thing in the booth, and kept the crowd pleased.

 

Other artist came out to support and enjoy the show as well. U.R.B.Z (HK) , FUSE 100, and Livy were among them.

The show was on time, and with no interruptions. The atmosphere was full of good music, happy faces, and no drama. Sounds like a good start to me.

So ladies are used to guys wanting to just "hit it"...and that usually brings about much resentment. Don't blink now, the tables have turned. More women are rolling up their sleeves to keep from wearing their heart there. No more "I hope he will fall in love with me." Cosign this.... "He's just here on stash so I can get it." Ever so often you'll hear the phrase,"We're all adults here" True..but you can't drop your pants for every adult you come in contact with. So what do you do? Keep one in the bank. Go out and flirt consiously, as long as he knows he's just a piece of A**!

I could only wonder what would be going through a dude's mind when reading this. Maybe shrug his shoulders and say whatever B**** , or get smacked with the reality that they're just a piece of meat..

What do you get when you mix many visions, motivation, personality, hard work, and intelligence? Actually…the question should be “Who do you get when you mix it up like that?” The answer, DC. They call him “THE BOSS OF LONG ISLAND”, and yes, he is a boss. I had the great pleasure of sitting down with “The Boss”. Let’s just say this is neither the beginning nor the end…there’s so much more to come. He dreams when he sleeps then pursues when he awakes. Get on his level or get out of his way. His movement is real.


A man of great focus and determination, he has managed to open the doors to his newest store CENTRAL STATION FOOTWEAR located in Baldwin, NY. I must say, I was impressed when I walked in his store. The décor sets in my mind something like a gallery, from the paint to the comfy seating area, and not to mention the graffiti artwork hanging. The store is airy, and sets a welcoming tone. Here you will find a selection of footwear that you would not find in your local, everyday FootLocker or FinishLine “Mall Store”. A selection of shirts baring the “I AM STRONG ISLAND” logo, polos, belts, watches, and fitted hats can also be found here. Stay tuned…..he’s not stopping here.

New Year

Yes today starts a NEW YEAR, but does that make me a NEW PERSON? No...like every other day I become stronger and wiser. Last year's mistakes are still today's reminders of the pot holes in my road I must try to avoid.

*Last year I survied two deaths of very important people in my life ( the love never ends) , hospitaztion, and a canceled wedding caused by a bad break-up(one of the best decissons I ever made). That's life....we must accept.

On a lighter , yet more brighter note, Recognize The Relationship Magazine released Issue 1 procceding its previous Premier Issue. We are growing with our new website http://www.rtrsmag.com/ . I also reconnected with long lost friends, and made a few new ones on the way.

I don't look back at 2009 and say Im glad it's over....I'm just glad I made it to see another day.
